I went here after my appointment and it’s such a cute spot. The food is so good, fresh, and good potions. The coffee is good too. On the sweeter side but they may have sugar free. I think they put edible glitter in the food lol. Super cute surprise. All the girl working there were very nice too.
Was very excited to try this shoppe based on pics and posts. This place is busy! (A good sign!) And might have impacted availability of certain menu items. Was disappointed that the menu was VERY limited (and repetitive) on a sunday at 11am. Main offerings are chicken salad or egg salad. No other entrees, and today they may have been extra busy and were out of egg salad. My friends loved the chicken salad, but I have unusual food issues with certain raw veg (celery) that were in the chicken salad, so resorted to picking out bigger pieces of chicken I could find. The green salad with sesame dressing was the highlight for me. The croissant seemed dry, which seems odd given the volume of customers. Bagels also dry (we got a toasted sesame) which was disappointing. Coffee was just ok. Would have preferred to add my own cream. My friend requested hot black tea, but it was earl grey (not the same). Overall, enjoyed our road adventure to nj, but sadly don't think it is worth a repeat trip. If you love lux coffee, this appears to be the bulk of business and could be just the spot for some folks. Enjoy!
Super cute experiential cafe, when you walk in you're greeted with extravagant floral decor throughout the building and there is even a local maker selling their art and other works. Very geered toward Swifties. My gripe with this place is first, everything on their food menu contains animal products. And then they are extremely unorganized, serving food but having limited seating and no guided seating or anyone to help manage how busy the restaurant is. We witnessed them literally bringing out actual plates and dishes full of food and handing them to people who were standing up and they had no where to sit and eat it the food that was handed to them on a plate.
My family and friends love coming here for coffee, hot chocolate, and brunch. The staff is always so kind and sweet, and completely understand what my daughter means when she orders her drink not by its actual name, but by which sticker is on the cup. They can interpret her order better than me and do so with a smile. The drinks and food being so good helps, but the atmosphere is what keeps us coming back!
As always, Hens and Honey did not disappoint. The new (bigger) store is such a fun atmosphere. This trip we tried the bagel board and waffle board. They were amazing! My favorite drink is the Pig Pen - if you like peanut butter, it’s a must! It was my daughter’s 19th birthday and she got a coffee flight with a birthday cake coffee🎂
